With Memorial Day just days away we are busy dressing up the pool and patio areas for the holiday weekend. You will notice a lot of new annual plantings around the pool, clubhouse and the golf course.
The parking lot seal coating and subsequent re- striping has been completed. Thank you for adjusting the past few weeks as we worked through this. Looks MUCH better.
The new range tee continues to grow in better and better and at this point we plan to open the driving range for hitting off of the new tee line mats on Friday at noon, with plans to start hitting off of the new “real” grass next Friday June 3.
The new putting green continues to develop and mature with light topdressing, gradual small decreases in height of cut and occasional rolling to try to smooth the surface. At this time, the plan is to open the green after The Junior Invitational.
There is still much to do to get the golf course where we want it (we are never done). The addition of 6 staff coming in the next week will be a valuable addition.
