The 2025 golf season is officially underway and with it here are a few reminders –

Play from Fine Fescue and High Grass Areas (local rule).

Fine Fescue Areas - there are two (2) areas designated as Fine Fescue and marked as “Native Area” – right side after tee between holes 4 and 5 fairways and in between holes 6 and 8 on right side.  These areas are part of a muti-year effort to grow fine fescue.  If your ball lands in these areas it should be played as Ground Under Repair.  You may retrieve your ball but do NOT play out of these areas.  Instead, take free relief - you must find the nearest point of complete relief (stance) from the ground under repair and drop your original ball or another ball from knee-height away from the ground under repair and within one club-length of that point not nearer the hole.

High Grass – All unmarked areas of high grass that border some holes, are considered penalty areas. These areas are not marked, however if a player’s ball comes to rest in these areas, players are entitled to relief, under penalty of one stroke.  When the penalty area is not defined by lines, the natural boundary of the native area will define the margin of the penalty area. Under penalty of one stroke, the player may take two club-lengths from the spot where the ball last crossed the margin of the penalty area and drop the ball from knee height.  If you find your ball it can be played as it lies with no penalty.

Golf Carts should not be driven in either of these areas.

A few other reminders –

  • Replace and repair divots with sand that has been supplied on all golf carts or on tees on Par 3 holes.

  • Repair ball marks on greens (repair yours and one other).

  • Place broken tees in the receptacles on many of the tees.

Thanks for your support.
