Update June 19th, 2026

Summer is in full swing (pardon the pun) at the golf course. We quickly shifted from a wet and cold May to much warmer, sunnier and humid conditions. Can’t believe it is almost the 4th of July and celebration of our nation’s 250th birthday. Here is what the grounds crew has been up to and our near-term areas of focus.

Progress Report

  • Lower green and surrounding area completed, now letting it settle and grow in

  • 13th forward (silver) tee completed, letting it grow in, should be open for play soon

  • Spread mulch and planted flowers on golf course and around Clubhouse & Pro Shop

  • Aerated/vented all greens and spread fertilizer on entire course, you received a special update about this, this helps alleviate impact to greens in hot and humid weather and lessens impact of annual Fall aeration

  • Restroom repaired, it’s open

  • Four H2B workers arrived in late May, all of which have been on staff for three or more years

In Progress Report

  • Repairing leaks in irrigation lines as they occur, you will see these areas roped off and this should be played as ground under repair

  • Rough evened out as course dries out, continue cutting on an ongoing basis

  • Area behind 4th & 6th green being planted with fescue

As an old saying goes “Be good to a golf course and it will be good to you" so here are a few reminders (including hyperlinks to videos with proper techniques)

  • Repair Ball Marks (“Ball Mark Repair Done Right”)

  • Fill or Repair Divots (“Divots 101 – Repair or Replace”)

  • Pick up broken tees and place them in receptacle, if provided, or in your cart dash area, while you’re at it pick up any litter as you drive or walk by it, better yet don’t litter, we are privileged to play at a private country club

  • Rake bunkers, we have too many footprints in our bunkers

  • Driving Range, why we use mats periodically (”Range Mats Matter”)

Monday Golf Play Rules and Regulation

  • Golf Members ONLY No Guest Play

  • Play begins at 3:00 PM or later* (you will be notified if this changes due to necessary course maintenance) Tee off on #1 Tee and for Walking only

  • Golf Shop / Locker Room and Clubhouse are Closed and will NOT be Open

  • Driving Range is Closed, Short Game area is available, but you must provide your own balls

  • Outings take precedent and could delay start time on those Mondays (refer to Whoosh to check if there is an outing on a specific Monday)

Finally, as a reminder, the golf course is for golfers ONLY so –

  • No bicycles or e-bikes

  • No Scooters, electric or manual

  • No skateboards

  • No rollerblades

  • No pedestrian running or walking with or without a dog

  • No fishing in any of the ponds

This applies to members, non-members and their children (school is out for the summer, remind your kids). The golf course is not a shortcut.

Our golf course is not a public park. This is for your protection and safety.

If you see someone violating this policy notify the Pro Shop.
