Reminders from the Golf Shop June 2026
Golf Shop Credit/Gift Certificate Policy Update
Based on our auditors’ recommendation, CCH is making a change to our Golf Shop credit/gift certificate policy. Effective this year, all Golf Shop credit and gift certificates will expire if not used by December 31 of each year. This change will allow all Golf Shop credit/gift certificate balances to be brought to zero by year-end, as recommended by our auditors. This is a common practice at many country clubs, and allows the club to be more GAAP compliant. Members will still be able to place orders or purchase in-stock merchandise to use their available credit or certificates. If you would like to know your current balance, please feel free to reach out. Throughout the year, we will also continue to offer suggestions and reminders on ways to use your Golf Shop credit/gift certificates. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
Driving Range and Practice Areas Reminders
The driving range is a popular area at CCH. To help ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment, please keep the following reminders in mind as more members use the range:
Proper golf attire is always required. Please refer to the club dress code by clicking here.
Practice only between the bag stands and ropes. Only staff members may move bag stands and ropes.
Be mindful of your divot pattern while practicing.
Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. All junior golfers must give way to adults when the range/practice areas are busy.
Please pick up any broken or unbroken tees and dispose of any trash when you are finished practicing.
The driving range opens 30 minutes before the first tee time and closes 1 hour before sunset.
Golf Course RemindersTo help keep play enjoyable and efficient for everyone, please keep the following golf course reminders in mind:
Junior golfers must check in with the starter or Golf Shop before play.
Play may begin on #10 only after checking in with the Golf Shop.
On busy days, we may ask you to pair up with other members to form foursomes.
Pace of play is monitored daily. We only go on the golf course if a problem arises. If pace of play is good, we will not disturb you during your round.
Please be mindful of your pace to help make everyone’s experience a good one. We strive to have all play completed in 4 hours or less.
Proper golf attire is always required. Please refer to the club dress code by clicking here.
Members and guests may listen to music via personal and portable speakers if the volume does not allow it to be heard by other groups on the course. In keeping with the etiquette and courtesy of the game, please consult other members of your group before turning on any music.
Standing or riding on the back of a golf car is not allowed. All riders must remain fully seated and inside the car while it is in motion.
Please feel free to contact any of our staff if there is anything we can help you with. We are here to assist you and make your golf experience a great one.
